Grunge
Grunge can mean different things to different people. To me its an overall look accomplished by the use of several techniques.
To accomplish my grunge look i:
I had to make my own spritz for a start. I only had twinkling H2Os in the finish i wanted. So i watered down some H2Os by putting water on my brush and dipping it into the H2O and then rincing in a small portion of water. I did this a few times until i got the colour i needed.
Then i used the top of one of my sprays to put the liquid onto my cardstock by just spraying. When it was nearly all used up, i tipped the remaining onto the cardstock to make clumps of colour.
This is what i looked like.
I also added some black spritz.
To add to the
grunge look, i also ripped and and scrapped around the edges of the cardstock
and inked.
Then in line with the motorbike theme in my layout, ive added some criss cross stitching over the rips. It reminds me of the leather biker jackets that are often worn.
and this is her end product!!!and the rest of the Creative Team have been busy creating some inspiration for you as well....
Tracey Campbell.... got out the paint, ripped up some cardboard and distressed!
Kerry Murray.... got out the glimmermist....
Giovanna Scott.... went grungey on her art journal page....
Jodie Armitage.... got out the mist and distressed the edges!
Mandy went for an OTP item.... and grunged up her container full of red things - using grungy rubons! love it!
and me {Charmane Koch} - i went nuts with the paint, inking, ripping and distressing too :)
I think we ALL had fun with this one, specially when most of us are NOT into the grungey scrapping - not for a while anyway!!!
SOOOOO get out your RED STUFF, your Paint, your distressing tools, rip stuff up and go nuts!!! looking forward to seeing some AMAZING layouts/otp projects!!!

Great work girls, was a bit dubious about naming this technique, but it was something that i wanted to try, so glad we all had fun with it!
