Misting Tips brought to you by Tracey Campbell....

1. To change the colour of sticker alphas that you want to match your page, just take them off the original sticker backing and place onto some scrap sticker backing – I usually use the strip left over from my xyron. Then give them a quick spray of mist and let dry.

 

2. Wrong colour embellishment for your page – solve it all with a quick spray of mist. I have soaked the paper butterfly here as I wanted a solid bright yellow.

 

3. To quickly change the colour of some chipboard, just give it a squirt or two with some mist. On this one I have used two different shades of yellow to give the heart an uneven colour for a little bit of dimension.

 

4. A quick and easy way to make an interesting background for your layout is to do some masking with the mist. Simply draw and cut out some shapes – I have done clouds. Lay them onto your background cardstock and give a fine spray of the mist over the cut out shapes. Take the cut out shapes off the cardstock and there you have an interesting background to scrap on.
