would have been up sooner, but I have had two blackouts today for some strange reason.... and only got my computer back and working now... grr!
ANYWAY... this month we had a joint CT brainstorm for this one and it IS....
COLOUR: Grey
WORD: Please
TECHNIQUE: Unusual Stamping {stamp on something different, stampWITH something different... its up to you!}
As always, the Creative Team have again out-done themselves.... each and every creation different and so inpsiring!!!
FIRST OF ALL - the lovely Gigi....
"Inspired by cold, wintery evenings in Europe.
Using Jo Sonja’s Paynes Grey colour which has a blue tinge to it and combining it with greens, black and a dash of pink.
More detail on the blog including the toolbox for the journal and my experiment on How To Make Grey."
the fantastic Mandy Dodd...
"Used a big foam stamp with silver paint, made the impression and then dragged the stamp down the page a little a few times."
the Amazing Jodie Armitage....
"I've stamped on transparency, patterned paper, felt and directly onto
my background."
Art-Journal Ange....
"I've used a the bottom of a (unused) thong to stamp all the small dots, then I've layered some stamps over the top of each other in different shades of grey and silver."
Lovely Lou...
stunning as always :)
Nifty Nicolee- love the business of this page :)
"Grey - some on bckgrnd + paint
‘please’ – ‘please be careful’ [we did a tree tops climb in Bali, the boys got VERY high up....;D]
Stamping – stamped arrows onto acetate"
and here is mine...
I've gone with lots of different grey embellishments - lucky I recently bought some for my stash {and made some too!} I have stamped on transparency and also stamped into air-drying clay to create some clay circles - you & love - more details will be on my blog soon...
Soooo everyone.... hope you have fun with this one.... so many ways to interpret this challenge.... looking forward to seeing your creations!!!
xoxo Charmane
