This is the Candy Pink Spotty Heavenly Heart that I had for sale for the THINK PINK Releases I had for the Breast Cancer donations :)

I am very proud to say that with the 123 Auction & the Think Pink Albums so far there has been $473 raised!!! There's still a couple of people to pay for their Auction items so I'm hoping to reach over $500 but would love to raise MORE of course!

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE THAT DONATED AND BID ON THE AUCTION ITEMS!

AND THOSE THAT BOUGHT FROM MY THINK PINK ALBUMS TOO!!!

Try a Challenge - Weekend Inspiration...

Hello! Long time no see! I've been neglecting this poor blog so much - mainly because I have been so busy creating for Charms Creations!!!

I will be having a couple of days off from Facebook and creating for Charms for the next couple of days - because it is School Holidays AGAIN!!!

Soooo... I thought I would share layouts I should have showed at the start of the month - hopefully to inspire you to scrap one or two....

***Just a reminder*** If you are creating a layout for Show Us your Stuff you must use the quote AND something handmade on your layout - coz that's what it's all about!!! Of course, it would be even better if you use CHARMS CREATIONS!!!

August 1st - its that time of the month....

I think I might as well just do one massive blog post with the blog challenges that I do samples for.... the first one I MUST put up is of course my "baby" the 123 Challenge, that I first started back in Dec 2006.... it's had its ups and downs, and at the moment it is definitely on the up & up!

The August 123 Challenge is a NICE & EASY one I think!

I must admit, I had this one done at the Retreat I went on - it was the LAST one I created... and I LOVE it! Make sure you check out the 3 criteria and give it a go - this month Charms Creations is DONATING a prize, along with 2 other fabulous websites!

I've used one of my fabulous flowers -which I must make more of!

The next is for August Show Us Your Stuff...

This month we are to not only USE A HANDMADE ITEM {which is the main idea of Show Us your Stuff} but take inspiration from the following image:

and of course, when I saw the amazing Echo Park Everyday Eclectic kit I HAD to get it! {and it's only $18 too!} The things we do for the perfect layout haha...

I loved being able to create the perfect handmade "Runner" for my layout too...

along with the perfect coloured Handmade Heavenly Heart too!

I keep seeing chevron EVERYWHERE now that we used in the 123 Challenge last month!!!

 

I'm also very excited to say that I am now on the Scrap the Girls Design Team!!!

My first Class @ Seasonal Journey & a couple of special visitors...

Last Wednesday was not only my first class at the local scrapbooking shop "Seasonal Journey" but also the day that Kerry & her daughter Mikayla came to stay with us for a few days!

It was a great afternoon with a lovely bunch of ladies... & it was good to have the bonus of a "famous" scrapbooker there to sign the covers of the latest Scrapbooking Memories Mags ;)

and here's the class group...

I won't show you just yet the full layouts I taught because I am having another class this Saturday, but here is a sneak...

 It was so fabulous to be teaching, and although a small group it was busy! I'm looking forward to this Saturdays class!

Anyway, while Kerry & Mikayla were here we had a great time - M & H... and R had a great time playing together... I let Harmony have the day off on Thursday so that she wouldn't miss out...

We didn't get to scrap as much as we usually would {or drink haha} as Kerry wasn't feeling too flash...

but she did finish off this layout for the July 123 Challenge

and this layout I finished off for Lil Red Rocket Blog

we did create more, but didn't get photos!!!

And I wish I'd thought of taking more photos of the girls... but only grabbed this one... Harmony went to school on Friday {last day of term 2}

On Friday we went to MY favourite cafe for Lunch for Mum's Birthday...

April 123 Challenge...

I had all intentions on having this up at the start of the month BUT I just didn't have the time or the right *mojo* at the time.... but last night was the perfect night for me to scrap... and I came up with this layout.... and I am VERY HAPPY with it!!!

The Criteria is HERE

I LOVE the colour for this month & I had fun mixing it with the other colours ;) I have also used a NEW Charms Creations Lime & White Heavenly Heart...

and here is another criteria....

and another newly invented MINI runner - Lime & Spearmint...

and if you are wondering I am using mostly products {resin roses, sass lass stickers & flowers} from one of our sponsors - D-Lish Scraps & the "cute" flag is from Lil Red Rocket

as you can see the Teal & Black Heavenly Heart is PERFECT for this challenge!!!

To create the "metallic" look of my painted hearts I added Kaisercraft Silver paint to my turquoise paint :)

It's amazing what Metallic Blue things I found in my stash.... the brads... the metallic blue ALPHAS...

and the journalling... about how clever my Mum is <3

Please give the 123 Challenge a go - it's my baby!!! I still can't get over that it was started way back in 2006!!! Before MOST of the blog challenges ever existed!!! Now there are gazillions of them!!!
