Stuck?! - January 15th...

You have to check out the awesome Jan 15th sketch over at Stuck?! - I was really happy to be able to finally use this paper & the photo was perfect!

and this old Lollipop was the perfect addition to add to the page too I think!

I even did some fussy cutting... something I don't do often hahah!

SNEAKIES HAVE STARTED!

OK if you are not on Facebook and havent seen my Facebook Page - you would be missing out on all the sneaks!

Hot Pink & Orange - for those of you that love to use BRIGHT colours on your pages... these are perfect for those funky girl pages!

I've been working mostly on Heavenly Hearts though... these are my favourites so far...

these are the same size as my original Heavenly Hearts so will all be $3 each {BUT I am thinking of working out a deal for those that want them ALL!}

I've also made "Our Brights" Heavenly Hearts for the first time... love the outcome of this one...

and then there's the Page Runner Kits...

and more!

Then there'll be the Fabulous Flowers - mixed packs I am thinking....

Busily creating...

these little Creatures!!! After the Library Craft Market the other week I realised I needed to start making some more of these guys again.... but decided to revamp them a little - and add my Charms Creations twist to them, now that I *think* I've found someting different to add to them - my Heavenly Hearts & Luscious Lollipops! why not?

I think they all have their own little personalities - and I am loving each and everyone of them :)

here's the backside ;)

these Mini-Monsters are just 8 inches high - no buttons - perfect for bub to grab onto and hold - Ryarne had one of these when she was smaller so cute!

This one is "Alejandro the Alien" - he's a replica from the original I made for Chei...

and I HAD to make this one for Harmony - Hot Pink & Black!

All of them are $15 each except the Mini-Monsters which are $8 each - these are for the Craft Market in Feb but if you would like to buy one please let me know - I'm thinking postage will be about $5-6 australia wide.

ROADTRIP... to Warrnambool!

Yesterday Mum and I went for an impromptu totally spontaneous trip to Warrnambool - to meet the lovely and most talented Ebony Van Der Starre and for me to do her class & catch up with scrappy friends that I've known on the net for a VERY long time! I don't have the photos of all of us - and am a bit scared of the photos to tell the truth hehe.... but it was wonderful to be able to getaway and to be able to scrap FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR {can't believe it!}

So anyway the reason why we did end up going coz I kind of invited myself when I saw Marelle was heading to Warrnambool and I mentioned that it was only 2 hours from me! One thing led to another and Mum & I ended up deciding that we COULD come for a quick whirlwind visit and I'm SOOOO glad we did!!!

I created the two layouts that Eb taught... the first one is my fave I think!

It was so nice to not have to think about the creative side of things and to learn a few tips and tricks along the way.... and end up with a fab page {or two} in the end! I had missed the chance to purchase a Polly Scrap Kit {cos they sold out and I was away!} but I managed by using bits and pieces from Eb & Marelle and also from my own stash!

just love the textures and the little "extras" that Eb uses to create her pages...

had so much fun misting and using texture paste...

lucky I had just bought this awesome alphas that were the same as the kit ones!

I had to journal when I came home!

The second layout I used mostly stuff from my own stash... and loved how it turned out too!

The cool part for me was learning how to create the funky banner!

You might notice a Charms Creations "love you" clay button & Lovelybug Bits n Bobs button...

and another Clay button & Lil Red Rocket apple button and cute flag!

I also managed 4 other layouts if you can believe.... but it's all secret squirrel stuff which I may show sneaks of soon!

It was fantastic to be able to scrap with others again and meet up with Marelle after so long, and meet Leah Cameron who I've known for years but never met {you crack me up!} & lovely to meet Jo & Sophie for the first time too! And Eb was not only an amazing teacher but so welcoming into her home! Thanks for being so inviting - even if I did the inviting heheh!!!

OK - I'm off want to keep the creative mojo happening! Might play with something different though - maybe some cards? or making some more flowers up! So many plans coming up and so little time!

Why not scrap a challenge?

As most of you know I am Creative Team Member for a few Challenge Blogs & I thought I would share them with you along with my samples - hopefully to get you maybe to scrap one or two over the weekend :)

First of all is the 123 Challenge Blog that I am Admin on - this has been running since Nov 2006! This year is going to be even more exciting - with our regular Websites who donate and some brand new ones too! We will also be having some Guest Designers as well - so stay tuned for that!

I have used my White Mixed Fabulous Flowers, along with a Teal & Black Page Runner.... and a Silver Xmas Lovely Lollipop & Page Runner that I specially made up :)

and I love how the "splats" worked out :)

 

The next challenge is White With One - which I have been a CT member for quite a while and is a very popular challenge blog.... here is my January White with One challenge sample...

I have used Lime Green & White Lovely Lollipops & crochet from Lime Tree Creations...

and a Lime Green & White Page Runner - which I have also specially made up :)

ohh and a great chance to use my white Cute clouds!

so I wonder what the criteria is?? It's obvious the colour is Lime Green!

 

Next challenge is a Sketch challenge - and I find Sara's Stuck?! Sketches the easiest to work with when I really am Stuck?!

January 1st Sketch sample looks like this...

A Day at the Markets...

and considering that I was extremely unprepared for it - I did quite well! PHEW!!! And although it had been a bit rainy and windy and cold {compared to all the other lovely days that we've been having!} there still was quite a few people through which impressed me!!! I wasn't completely happy with my set-up but being away for two weeks I pulled it off ok...

My best sellers were my Fabulous Flowers and my Monsters & Rabbits! So guess what I'll be making for the next market??? Have a few other ideas too, but for now I'm happy :) It was nice to get to see other stall-holders work and to have a chat with Sue*Sewn who was next to my stall - Mum... RinRinka Art

was next to me of course!

and we even had DJ A-sha play for most of it too.... good to here some chilled out music - and he had some fabulous feedback too!

Looking forward to the next one... here's the ad...

Next time I hope to buy a few goodies from the other stallholders there's some awesome stuff there! I couldn't resist the beer sticks & Kransky Sausages!!!

Now, I'm hoping to get to normal and start scrapping & creating once I get our house sorted and spruced up for ANOTHER rental inspection! FUN!

I also have LOTS of catching up to do on my personal blog with our holidays for the last two weeks - its been CRAZY!!

OK, gotta go and get my big boy a MILO... gotta love school holidays ;)
