Show us Your Stuff - Creative Team Showcasing Charms Creations - May 15th Challenge...

OK thought I would mix it up and share with you the May 15th Group 2 Challenge - which is due on the 15th of June....

Her tutorial takes you through a whole canvas, but the technique to focus on is the gorgeous FABRIC & PAINT BACKGROUND (steps 1 & 2). Get messy and enjoy! Here is the link.

Today I want to share with you Tara Scobie's layout she created using Stacey Young's fabulous techniques

She actually came up with this most beautiful canvas! Isn't it stunning - and I am SOOOO doing this challenge - I hope that YOU do too! And as you can see - she has used a Creamy Cream Heavenly Heart here....

and on this layout she was happy for me to share too!

Show us Your Stuff - Creative Team Showcasing Charms Creations...

Over the next few days {maybe weeks haha} I will be uploading layouts created by the fabulous team over at Show Us your Stuff Challenge Blog...

Each month there are two "Inspirational Prompts" for you to create a layout from, one on the 1st of each month, the 2nd on the 15th of the month. You have a month from the date they are put up to complete a layout with your interpretation on them. The other criteria is that you MUST use something handmade on your layout - this can be made by you or bought from somewhere that "handmakes" their stuff - for example ME at Charms Creations!!!

I sent off some goodies to the Creative Team to use on their layouts to showcase some of my Charms Creations, so I will be uploading and linking not just to the Show Us your Stuff blog but to their blogs too :)

WE HOPE THAT YOU ALL JOIN IN - and of course - would love to see Charms Creations on them too ;)

Harmony has SCRAPPED!

Hello! Hope you have all had a wonderful weekend!!! Mine has been busy as usual!

My darling daughter Harmony has scrapbooked the Show Us Your Stuff "Sophie's Corner" Challenge... and here is her page...

OUT FOR PUBLICATION!!!

With hardly any help from me, she has created this gorgeous pretty page! i am sooooo proud of her!

my favourite bit of her page is her cute handwriting & drawing of hearts and iceblock :)

And if you didn't know "Show us Your Stuff" is all about using handmade products - of course it had to be my Charms Creations Fabulous Flower & Heavenly Heart {which is BRAND NEW} on her page!

I also showed her how to use gesso and mask hearts onto her page {thanks to Ebony Van Der Starre for showing ME!!!} Although it can be a bit of a task to help the kids with their pages, I just LOVE the outcome of this one....

there's a HEAP of others I could mention - but maybe for next month ;)

And for us here in SA.... its the FIRST day of school....

my daughter Harmony starts Year One this year and is SOOOOO EXCITED.... can you tell?

and my son Chei, who starts Year Three, says he doesn't want to go.... and by the photo he is not impressed... BUT he was happy to see me go and was off with his friends as happy as can be!

gotta love the forced smile ;)

ANYWAYS.... only THREE sleeps til sale time!!! Make sure you share with your friends!!!
