The Color Room #117 - Nan & Ryarne...

When I saw the colours for this weeks Color Room I just KNEW they were perfect for the photos that I took for Mum's birthday on Friday - BUT I only could choose one photo - I am sure I'll be scrapping the others the same way though!

totally inspired by the visit from Kerry M - I had a go at masking, modelling paste and embossing & don't forget misting too!!!

The Color Room #116 -Mitzy Mo & a scrappy weekend...

I've had a fantabulous weekend of scrapbooking... finally found the swing of it last night & have created a few layouts... along with Mum who had a play with her fantastic Art Journalling Pages....

I can only really show you the full layout of this one...

for The Color Room Palette #116... I have been on a roll with being able to complete them each week, I guess because I haven't got a sale on or organised {YET!}

It's been nice just to be able to create for myself - oh and for classes I will be doing very soon at the local Scrapbooking shop {more details soon!}

I've been having fun using my new heat gun - with texture paste & templates again! Lovin it!

so here's a sneak of what we were up to & some layouts that will be up in about a weeks time - YES - it's almost JULY already!!!

One of the most favourite things that Ryarne loves to do when Nanna is here creating with me is to go through each and every one of her Art Journals, to flick through, have a feel & tell Nanna how beautiful each page is.... SOOOO CUTE!!!

these were the leftovers that I ate today... what we had last night ;) minus kabana...

Today Mum had a stall at the Trash & Treasure Market at the library... R & I finally made it in the end... Ryarne scored these figurines.... seeing as we have been watching The Lion King ALL weekend, I HAD to get them for her... she was stoked!

My score was this kettle... for $5! I've been wanting a new one for ages & saw that this one was in really good condition & NOT a crappy one - so thought I HAD to get it!

and this arvo I managed another layout... loved the quote & colour inspiration so had to give it a go - it will be up tomorrow!

Happy to say that I still have a few layouts to play around with, just too bad that I've ran out of time to do them... because I really should get BACK TO BUSINESS!!!

The Color Room #114 {Family Room} Feature Art

I LOVED the Color Room Palette this week {as I always do, I just seem to run out of time to complete!} I had to find time to create this layout though - once I saw the colours and this FANTASTIC paper that is in THIS KIT I had to use it with the photos from my fave cafe at the moment....

the colours are so rich and YUMMY....

I LOVE to invent a new Runner or two for my pages as well ;)

I loved the flags that were in the sketch too - right up my alley of course ;)

and can't forget the journalling....

Pretty happy to be able to scrap considering I have all three kids at home - not well.... and me not 100% either.... hoping to get back to normality SOON!

The Color Room - SPECIAL EDITION PALETTE Week 107 INZPIRA MAGAZINE

I was totally inspired by these colours and the awesome sketch when I was going through some old Palettes at The Color Room - so I printed it off {along with a few others} and last night I had a play...

it was a slow start for some reason, but I love the result!

I found an old photo that Mum and I took a year or so ago when we were walking around the lake regularly... it was perfect for the colours and the sketch!

The only "Charms Creations" i used though was my Cute Cloud!

the rest was lots of bits from D-Lish Scraps...

twine and buttons from Lil Red Rocket...

and if you are wondering how I created the "sun" I have used the Layered Stars Template

and the fabulously fun papers are from the SFS Designer MAY DT Kit Amy Tangerine Sketchbook

This is definitely my favourite from this weekend!

The Color Room #112 {Her Room}

Saturdays lately have been my "non-working" days... I have decided these are my days that I get to have a play - with the new goodies from Scrapbooking from Scratch, and some of the goodies I have made for Charms Creations :)

This layout I created for The Color Room Palette #112 - I always love the sketches that come with the Colors too and MOST of the layouts I do for the Color room are based on these sketches...

I have also used the We R Memory Keepers Anthologie Kit that Peta gave me to have a play with too :) Just love the mix of papers and colours in this kit - so much to choose from & they mix so well together too!

I have used my Charms Creatione Creamy Cream Heavenly Heart on this one...

Re-visiting a Color Room Palette...

I had a bunch of Color Room Palette's with me last night, and I decided to use an old Color Palette {not that old, but one I missed...}

I used more of the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook kit & a few bits from my stash...

I had a lot of fun just *playing* last night... no stress of the kids asking me to do something every five minutes... or me thinking I should be doing something else other than scrapping ;)

How pretty are the colours?

and I EVEN PUT HIDDEN PHOTOS on this layout... it's been a very long time since I've done that!

She was so brave, I think I freaked out more than she did, specially when one of the guns got caught with one of the earrings and they couldn't get it loose!

I have a couple more layouts, but haven't had a chance to finish them off just yet, hopefully over the next day or two!

Loved the Palette AGAIN this month at The Color Room - I chose the yellow as my background {although it looks a bit more orange than yellow :S but I took my inspiration from the actual layout that went with the Color Combo and sketch...
